Castell 9000 - a real classic among pencils - was brought onto the market in 1905 by Count Alexander von Faber-Castell. Quality and the fine gradation of the degrees of hardness have made it the preferred tool for artists and draftsmen. Its lead is completely glued to the wooden casing and is therefore particularly protected against breakage. The Castell 9000 is available in 16 different degrees of hardness, making it an ideal pencil for all technical and artistic applications.
